All 50 cent does is talk about Power for hours. To the point of being a troll just so the hashtag can trend, so here we go with an hour of questions and comments from the end of Season 4.
####SPOILER ALERT###
1. Is it too expensive to film in NYC in the summer? why are all your shots in cold weather time? Zaddy Ghost looks good with snow flakes and all but...I could do without Tasha's ghastly fur trims. Is it cos the characters need a good reason to wear gloves? There's literally only one instance of prints being lifted in the whole show.
2. Speaking of Tasha's wardrobe...why is she always in black, and when is going to switch her style up? Maybe they're trying really hard to draw a line between Naturi and Tasha but yo! Congs on the baby BTW. I thought the whole speech on not knowing who you were only what Ghost wanted you to be was setting up a make over. Also, wasn't it in season 1 where he lambasted her for dressing like a club goer not a club owner?
3. Why didn't I stay off the internet? Instead of being surprised as hell when Tommy x LaKeisha hooked up ( I did not see that coming at all at that point I think I had just resigned myself to believing he killed her) I was expecting it, and ended up being disappointed. It's a good thing though, cos I would have been paralysed. 100% thought he was referring to blow when he talked about playing in the snow. Literally had to rewind
4. They say the sex scenes tell an important part of the story. Is this really true? What did we learn from Julio (RIP papi. You should have taken the tat off) and Ms Fort Lee's post relationship tryst? That it's still worth paying for? What did we learn from Tasha x Ghost's reconnection? the internet seems to have learnt a lot so maybe I just had my eyes wide shut but it's good to see that both the extreme violence/ nudity/ scenes of a sexual nature leave us yearning for behind the scenes footage to see how in the world they make it all look so real! Back to back scenes had me like:
Sadly the degree to which actress are slut-shamed for their roles leaves me cringing and scratching my head. CAK may not want to share trade secrets but Lela Loren seems to get more hate than a porn star (her bad guy role probably has a lot to do with it) and a ridiculous number of people are screaming bloody murder at La la. As someone who may or may not be addicted to reading YouTube comments and Power, I took the time to look up Lucy Walters' Interviews. Now, she's most likely in the top 5 most hated characters list and even though Power has grown immensely in terms of reach, I'm willing to wager that a majority of viewers (compared to GoT or Outlander) are 'urban' and/or people of colour. Does this have any correlation with the amount of vitriol being spewed? I don't recall seeing anything even remotely comparable directed towards Lucy Walters' as Naturi, La la or Lela.
5. Did Anika Noni Rose have somewhere else to be? that was a pretty lacklustre death for someone who's apparently the biggest badass of the season. Did she not read for the role of Jukebox girlfriend at all? Did she not want to make out with 50? Also, that drive from DC to NYC is no joke. I don't know people like that. Best believe we're having a Skype call about whatever it is.
6. Milan/Drew being a Serbian bawse out for revenge is probably the best plot twist of the show thus far. Pretty sure they could have stretched it out longer. Did the audience not like him calling Ghost his slave? Everyone loves a good courtroom drama with prison break suspense and that really did end up filling the gap and taking this whole to another level.

8. Seriously, how is this kid having sleep overs while the family is in a full on legal crisis? absolutely nothing was going on in my house and I still couldn't go to some rando's crib. How the hell busy are his parents? Seriously?
Let this be a lesson to us all. It takes a lot more than giving kids what you didn't have in order for them to have the life you didn't have. 100% blame Tasha and James. The baby would be with Grans and Raina would be in Switzerland with tuition pre paid in 5 seconds flat. You know you're a d-boy...hell a d-family you can't just life your life all willy nilly. Also, Tall, brown skinned? is that how to describe Kanan? After the kidnapping? How does one become friends with a grown ass man on the bball court and follow him places just like that?
8. Why couldn't Tommy's dad be a Boston badass cue Mark Wahlburg and potential extra...me?
9. Can we talk about money? 2M bail? hard pass. I'm sure being in jail is hard but the fam needs the money more innit? What happened to whatever was in the bank safe? Didn't Tommy give James money for Milan? didn't they already have enough money for the hotel folks? on a very serious note, the St. Patricks have serious cash flow issues. How are they still renting their apartment? How are you buying new clothes four court at this juncture? What happened your secret stash Tasha? Quick segue to Universal Healthcare to guard against catastrophic healthcare expenditure. When is Tasha going to get some kind of certification so she can potentially get a job if she needed one.
10. Remember when we used to compare Empire and Power? nope...neither do I.
